Timetabled sport each term

Sport at Milton Abbey is well supported by senior management. We have an Director of Sport who oversees competive, academic and recreational sports, a Head of BTEC Sports who runs this popular vocational course, plus Heads of Sport for individual sports who deliver specialised coaching in their areas of expertise.

Pupils take part in sports at least three times a week, with an aim to compete weekly against other schools throughout the term.

The sports that we offer as part of each term's timetabled activity are as follows:

In addition to this extensive list, there are numerous other sporting opportunities available in our recreational and weekend programmes. This includes the option to explore canoeing and other water sports, hiking and orienteering. As a predominantly boarding school, we make sure young people in our care are active throughout the week - giving them ample opportunity to improve their skills, knowledge and fitness.
