Milton Abbey School is delighted to celebrate another strong set of GCSE, A Level and BTEC results, with the achievements of its 2026 leavers building on last year’s successes and surpassing them in many areas.

At A Level, there has been a significant increase in the proportion of top grades (A*– C), while BTEC students have also achieved an increase in the number of Distinction*- Merit grades. This reflects Milton Abbey’s commitment to both academic and vocational pathways.

We are particularly proud of our Fifth Form students and the individual journeys behind their results. For many, success means achieving a personal best or securing the grades they needed for their next step. English, Creative Media, Music and Hospitality have produced some especially strong results this year. Our Middle Sixth students have also worked incredibly hard, and we are delighted to see their efforts rewarded with results that will enable them to move on to the next stage of their education.

The results are a reflection not only of the students’ hard work and determination, but also of the dedication of our teaching staff, who have supported each student in working towards their own goals.

As ever, our leavers’ destinations are wonderfully varied. Students are heading to universities including Durham, Southampton and Cardiff, as well as specialist institutions such as the Royal Agricultural University and Arts University Bournemouth. Others will be continuing their studies internationally at Les Roches and Glion. Their chosen subjects are just as diverse, ranging from Economics and Animation to Marine Biology and Viticulture and Oenology.
