Third Form

Learning For Life

Third Form is an exciting stage in a student’s life, not just in their academic journey, but allows them to discover interests and what they are able to achieve

INTRODUCING THE THIRD FORM

This first year is a chance for students to develop self-knowledge and essential skills: the curriculum for Third Form (Year 9) places importance on choice. We take pride in our varied curriculum taught in small classes with space in the timetable for further support if appropriate.

Third Form Curriculum

I am very pleased to be part of Milton Abbey School because I feel it has given me more opportunities I would not have had the chance to experience in my last school such as, helping out on the School Farm, trying new sports and being part of a school team and participating in activities such as CCF

Joining Third Form

Our education approach in this year is to encourage confidence in, and control over, their academics, in a way that they may not have experienced before.

Learning experiences, both in and out of the classroom are positive, engaging and different. Our school site is inspiring and we know that education needs to be inspiring as well.

Our holistic perspective guides students to understand the factors that impact their learning and how they learn best; identifying personal strengths and challenges help far beyond school life.

Benefiting the individual life beyond Milton Abbey is important to us which is why we have the broadest offering of traditional and vocational subjects within the independent sector.
