International students can take EAL lessons and also choose to participate in the International English Language Testing System (IELTS). The IELTS programme will assist them to prepare for examinations that are required by most UK universities as part of the admissions process for pupils whose first language is not English. Additional study support can also be arranged for overseas students taking BTEC courses.

Each student is provided with a tailored programme, depending on their individual needs. Any additional charges will depend upon the number of individual and/or group lessons included in the agreed EAL programme.

For pupils who live overseas, the school can assist with booking a taxi to UK airports. These requests must be made by filling in the booking form which will be issued just before each Exeat and Half Term. To secure bookings, and ensure all privately arranged transport is captured, please respond to the emails issued and relevant forms within the set timescales. These services will be recharged at the end of each term.

If you require an unaccompanied minor chaperone, we request that you book your travel with the assistance of your Guardian, or you book a private driver to avoid complications as we are not able to provide this service.  There are also third-party services available to meet pupils from transport at the Airports.
Taxi bookings are subject to a quoted price plus any additional fees the taxi company add on such as parking and any waiting time. There is also a booking fee of £30 which is still payable in the event of a cancellation after a confirmed booking has been made. Bookings are not transferable.
