We recommend coming to see the school, either at one of Open Days or an individual admissions visit, at least two years in advance of entry. The best way to do this is to attend one of our Experience Days.
Once you have had a good look round and met staff, we recommend you register your child, giving them a provisional place.
Eighteen months before entry, all those registered with us will be asked to confirm that Milton Abbey is their first choice of school.
All Child Student Visa students must have a guardian who is resident in the UK for the duration of their studies at Milton Abbey School. This can be either a family member, friend or an AEGIS accredited guardianship organisation (The Association for the Education and Guardianship of International students).
Upon request we can arrange for you to meet with the Headmaster, followed by a tour of the school led by one of our students.
The majority of pupils who join us at 13 take the Common Entrance exams set by the ISEB. For those who have not been prepared for Common Entrance, we are happy to accept our own entrance papers in Maths and English, in addition to an interview.
For entrance at the Sixth Form, all those registered with us are asked to attend an Interview Morning before places are offered.
We have Open Days twice a year in February and October. As we like to keep our Open Days small and personal, you do need to book with the Admissions Office. Please see here for more information about visiting us.

We always welcome a number of new students into the Sixth Form. Potential Sixth Form students can attend an Open Day. Please view the dedicated Sixth Form area of our website.
Currently around 33% of our pupils live outside the UK from more than 20 countries. We can arrange airport transfers for those travelling to and from an airport.
