About Milton abbey
A special place like Milton Abbey thrives not just because of its historic beauty, but because of the passion, energy, and character its pupils bring to it every day.

Everyone is known, noticed and nurtured
The students at Milton Abbey School are truly unique, each bringing their own strengths, passions, and character to create a vibrant and supportive school community. It’s this individuality that makes Milton Abbey such a special place to grow, not just academically, but personally.
Our school thrives on a sense of togetherness, where everyone knows everyone, and every voice is heard. Whether in the classroom, on the sports field, or in co-curricular activities, students and staff form strong bonds that reflect the warmth of the Milton Abbey family.
This close-knit environment fosters confidence, kindness, and a sense of belonging that stays with our students long after they leave.

Pastoral Care
Milton Abbey is a unique and profoundly caring environment, brought about by the small size of our School, our exceptional academic and pastoral staff, and complemented by our beautiful setting and surroundings.
The School is committed to providing exceptional care both in the classrooms and in the boarding Houses, offering personalised one-to-one tutoring that complements a bespoke academic and co-curricular programme for every pupil. Tutors and tutees meet weekly to plan for the week ahead, fostering academic curiosity and encouraging broad engagement in cultural, sporting, and service activities.
