Sport Scholarships

Milton Abbey offers 14 Sport Scholarships each year, to pupils joining the Lower School at 13 and students in the Sixth Form.

Each successful candidate will be enrolled in our High Performance Programme. As part of this, they will be assigned a sport tutor with whom they meet regularly to support their development. They will also get additional lectures and coaching to improve their physical and mental preparation for sport, and including a greater understanding of sport-specific tactics and leadership.

Our current scholarships are:

Games Player: These scholarships are offered to pupils who excel in traditional team sports, such as Rugby, Hockey, Lacrosse, Cricket and Tennis. Pupils will be assessed in two of these sports. There are six scholarships available for Third Form entry and two for Sixth Form entry.
