As the end of term approaches, especially for those whose exams are nearly over, Hughies' House staff decided to put on a special afternoon and evening for the Middle Sixth girls in the House who will be leaving Milton Abbey at the end of this academic year. Langham Wine Estate is fast gaining a reputation for their excellent sparkling wine and is very close to Milton Abbey. The group had a fascinating tour around the estate, the bottling plant and fermenting barn before a tasting of the wines. A delicious supper in the sunshine followed, a lovely way to celebrate the girls' time at Milton Abbey.
