News & Info > Fourth Form visit Landrover BAR Fourth Form visit Landrover BAR Our Fourth Form Physics and Design Technology pupils visited Landrover BAR in Portsmouth recently, and spent the day at Ben Ainsley Racing. The on-site educational centre gave pupils the chance to learn all about the design and engineering of America's Cup sailing boats, designed with ultimate care and attention to detail to ensure maximum speed. The group were introduced to the latest materials and developments that are being used on the boats today, and even got to take part in a competition of who could build the strongest boat from lollipop sticks and straws!
