Emma Leschallas (Chairman)
Emma lives near Tetbury in Gloucestershire and is married to William. She has a son, Archie who is in the 5th form and her elder son, Henry, left Milton Abbey last summer. Emma is the founder and Managing Director of the charitable fundraising website ‘Giving Lots’. She also is an antique dealer with a shop in
Tetbury. When she’s not running both businesses she tries to find time to pursue her other interests which are English 18th century decorative arts, yoga and surfing.

Peter Everard (Middle 6th Form Representative)
Peter lives in Farnham, Blandford, with his wife Stephanie and their children, three of whom still live at home and four who have their own careers. Thomas is the youngest and he’s in the 4th form at Milton Abbey. Peter and Stephanie own and run Dunning and Everard Ltd, Stephanie Dunning Interior Design and The English Joinery Company. Peter was born and brought up in Kenya, with an initial career in the British Army. He served five years with the Parachute Regiment (’72 to ’76) followed by four years in Oman running the Parachute Training School and P Company for SAF. His interests include all sporting activities, restoration of old buildings and the politics of African States!

Gary Knight (L6th Representative)
Gary has worked in HR Resourcing for the last 15 years, following a career in the British Army as a Captain, where he served in Bosnia, as well as serving for 2 years with the Royal Marines.
He worked at GlaxoSmithKline for 10 years where he led the Recruitment for the UK Business before running the Strategic Sourcing Team. From here Gary moved to Cisco where he was Director of Recruitment for Emerging Markets, responsible for Russia & CIS, Middle East, Africa and Latin America.
Gary moved to First Quantum in September 2011 to take the role of Group Head of Strategic Resourcing, responsible for supporting the significant headcount growth plans over the next 5 years. His interests include Golf and Rugby, and is a coach for the U16 at Marlborough Rugby club.
Gary is married to Georgina and has two children, Hugo who is in the 5th Form at Milton Abbey and Freya who is 12 and attends Stonar School for Girls.
Mike Daunt (4th Form Representative)
Mike lives in Berkshire and has a son, Hugh in the 5th Form at Milton Abbey.
Mike is a master of country pursuits and runs the Hugh Falkus School of Spey Casting; he is also an expert shot. Mike has written a book entitled ‘An Endangered Species’ – an entertaining study of various countrymen, poachers, gypsies , rat catchers, river keepers, dukes and earls; co-presented the BBC television production ‘The Bart and the Bounder’; and continues to contribute articles for The Field, Trout and Salmon Magazine and The Weekend Telegraph.

Tanya Grant (3rd Form Representative)
Tanya lives near Bridport and is married to Geoff. They have one daughter, Poppy, who commenced
Milton Abbey in the Third Form this past September. Tanya is the General
Manager of Magna Careline Limited, based in Dorchester and a Non Executive
Director of The Telecare Services Association.
Tanya was a founder member of the PTC at Leweston School.

Kemi Balogun (Overseas Representative)
Kemi lives in Lagos, Nigeria with her husband Bolaji, an investment banker They have 5 children. Their first son Michael is in the 4th form at Milton Abbey and his twin Michele attends Benenden School. Kemi is an early childhood educator and runs a pre-school in Lagos. A very active parent in her children's schools, Kemi served for 4 years on the school board of the American International School, Lagos (the school has over 800 students, spanning 45 nationalities) and is the current PTO president at the school. She loves to travel and enjoys spending time in her homes in London and New Jersey.
