Choral Society formed at Milton Abbey

Milton Abbey is delighted to announce the formation of the Milton Abbey Choral Society. The newly founded group will be directed by David McKee, Director of Music at Milton Abbey School from January 2012.

The choir will rehearse weekly on Tuesday evenings during term time from 7:30 – 9:30, and perform termly concerts in the School’s glorious 13th Century Abbey, accompanied by professional orchestral musicians and soloists.

The first concert will be on Sunday 18th March, and will include Gabriel Fauré’s Requiem as well as his ‘Cantique de Jean Racine’. Rehearsals begin on Tuesday 17th January, and continue every week until the concert with the exception of Tuesday 14th February (Half Term).

Milton Abbey Choral Society is open to all, and no audition is required - simply a love of choral singing. Membership is free to all.
