Introduction
In January 2011, the Headmaster and Governors launched the new £4 million Development Plan, which aims to provide three new and two refurbished state-of-the-art boarding houses, alongside new teaching and learning support facilities.
The ‘Educating, not just teaching’ Campaign aims to raise £1.5 million to support these plans, of which more than half has already been committed by Old Miltonians, parents and friends of the school.
“Ultimately, the responsibility for the continued high standards seen in the quality of ‘the Milton Abbey experience’ lies with those of us who value it most. Philanthropy has always been at the heart of our educational establishments and the Development Plan for Milton Abbey, supported by the ‘Educating, not just teaching’ Campaign, will ensure that current and future generations of pupils here have the environment and facilities to match their potential.”
