PUPILS TO RETURN HOME - MESSAGE TO PARENTS
February 06, 2012
Dear Parents,
Following the email from the Deputy Head this morning, we have assessed the situation regarding the virulent stomach bug that we have at school.
The number of pupils who are now affected has risen above sustainable levels at the school. We therefore have no other option but to shut the school.
The school has arranged extra coaches to help parents with travel arrangements on the routes that we normally cover. If you wish to utilise these, please could you ring Rita on 01258 880484. If you wish to book a taxi, please contact my PA, Georgie Woolgar, on 01258 881803.
Please can I ask that parents liaise with Housemasters concerning travel arrangements.
If overseas parents need support for travel arrangements, or for guardian arrangements, please contact the Bursar on 01258 88131.
In advance, I want to thank you for your understanding. We will do everything we can to isolate the illness, undertake a deep clean of the school, and ensure that everything returns to normal after half term. Concerning missing lessons, we will ensure that pupils will be given the opportunity to have teaching time made up to them once they return to school.
Yours sincerely,
Gareth Doodes
