Head of Hospitality (Required for September 2012)
We are seeking to appoint a full time experienced Head of Hospitality who has industry or business experience as well as superb teaching skills to develop this vital area of the school. A major priority will be helping to plan and execute a new Hospitality suite which is part of the school’s development plan.
The position will involve delivering the Level 3 BTEC Diploma and the Extended Diploma which will enable the students to deliver match teas, a governor’s dinner, young enterprise events, house dinners and open days. The successful applicant will be expected to introduce and develop the Leith Cookery Course as well as providing training to other members of the department.
Salary according to Milton Abbey’s own scale.

Catering Assistant (Required as soon as possible)
We are looking for a reliable Catering Assistant to work in our busy kitchen. You will join our busy team providing in house catering during term time and catering for events during the holidays.
12 hours per week: hours of work are likely to be Monday - Thursday 5.30pm – 8.30pm
Own transport to and from work is essential

Language Tutors
We regularly require part-time one-to-one language teachers to provide private tuition. Particular languages of interest are Portuguese, Arabic and Latin, although other languages will be considered.
We would be pleased to hear from applicants who are able to teach at least to GCSE level and are well-qualified, enthusiastic, ambitious and highly motivated. You will join Milton Abbey at an exciting time in its history as it embraces full co-education, and embarks upon a development plan that will herald the building of three new boarding houses.
