Introduction
Milton Abbey has long been a host to an array summer courses, who are still returning year after year to take advantage of this stunning venue with its many facilities.
The State Rooms, sports facilities and surrounding grounds are all available in conjunction with a variety of accommodation options. Accommodation for up to 120 guests is located in the main building across single, double and triple bedrooms and small dormitories. Family rooms with bathrooms are also available.
The cost per person per night is inclusive of accommodation, meals, use of the pool and sports facilities (except golf) and a daily change of towels. We do not provide towels for the swimming pool, however we provide a daily laundering service for swimming towels. A deposit of £1,000 is necessary to secure a booking and full payment is due in full in the week prior to the event commencing.
Catering
All our catering is done in-house enabling us to provide for fully catered solutions for residential guests from breakfast to evening meals and refreshments. Upon booking confirmation and a deposit, a selection of menus will be discussed in order to provide for your requirements.
Facilities
As one of Dorset’s leading independent schools, Milton Abbey boasts an array of sporting facilties. The following facilities are available for use by residents:
- All weather pitch tennis courts
- 2 volley ball nets
- Football pitch
- Recreation Hall
- Rounders Pitch
- Putting Green Lawn
- Golf – a charge of £10 green fee
- Swimming Pool as timetable (lifeguard cover to be provided by yourselves)
We can also provide a 17 seater mini bus (you supply the driver) at the a daily rate applicable at point of booking.
There is also a Tuck Shop onsite which may be opened during summer stays, opening time by prior arrangement to fit in with your programme.
