A-Level Courses

Advanced Level (A-Level) qualifications are typically studied over a two-year period after the successful completion of GCSEs. They are the most common pre-university qualification taken by pupils in England.

A-Levels bring many benefits and pupils usually select three subjects to study which particularly interest them and are relevant to their future career plans.

Courses available at Milton Abbey range from traditional subjects such as History and the Sciences, to more modern subjects including Economics and Photography.

Milton Abbey also supports students who wish to undertake the Extended Project Qualification alongside their A-Levels. This allows them to complete an independent research project that will develop great skills - and earn useful additional UCAS points - for any future study at university.

Career paths after A-Levels often include applying to university or other higher education courses, but can also lead to apprenticeships or going directly into employment.
