Friends of Milton Abbey School Summer Fête

Our Friends of Milton Abbey School Summer Fete is now in its fifth year and we continue to use it as an opportunity to raise money for the School's two charities, Julia's House and SKRUM, and to welcome local visitors to the School for an afternoon of family fun.

Our Friends of Milton Abbey School Summer Fete is now in its fifth year and we continue to use it as an opportunity to raise money for the School's two charities, Julia's House and SKRUM, and to welcome local visitors to the School for an afternoon of family fun.

This year the sun shone on us and there was lots of entertainment and fun to be had from watching the beagle racing, rides on the steam train, face painting, the 'Nearest the Pin' golf competition or sitting outside listening to music played by some of our talented students.  The hospitality students displayed their considerable skills with an impressive artisan food stall and each House ran stalls and games which proved very popular.   Even our animals behaved impeccably at the School Farm petting area!

Thank you to everyone who came along to support the Fete and to the staff and pupils who put on such a great afternoon for everyone whilst raising money for two very worthwhile causes.
