Combined Cadet Force

All boys join the CCF – either Army, Navy or Air Force sections – up to and including Year 11; after that it is optional but many choose to keep it up. CCF offers a highly attractive range of adventurous and physically exhausting pursuits. In addition to once-a-week instruction in military and leadership skills, there are outings every weekend to go caving, climbing or canoeing. Places in the annual Ten Tors expedition team are fiercely contested. In the holidays there are some excellent, services-led camps to choose from.
